The ultimate clash continues its destructive symphony in My Hero Academia Chapter 402. With the fate of Japan, and perhaps the world, hanging in the balance, Izuku Midoriya (Deku) digs deeper into the power of One For All than ever before, confronting the merged entity of Tomura Shigaraki and All For One.

This chapter likely focuses on the immense physical and mental toll this battle is taking on Deku. Horikoshi is expected to illustrate the 'kickback' or consequences of using multiple Quirks at their absolute peak simultaneously. We might see Deku pushing past his breaking point, possibly manifesting a new, desperate combination of abilities drawn from the vestiges within OFA.

SHIGARAKI'S DETERIORATION VS. AFO'S WILL

On the opposing side, the chapter could explore the internal conflict within the villain. Is Shigaraki's consciousness fading? Is All For One fully in control, or is the immense power proving too much for the body to handle? The visuals might depict Shigaraki's form becoming even more grotesque or unstable, a terrifying representation of unchecked power and hatred.

"This chapter feels like the prelude to a final, devastating move. The tension is unbearable as both hero and villain approach their absolute limits."

SACRIFICE AND SUPPORT

While the focus is on Deku vs. Shigaraki, we might get brief glimpses of the other heroes. Bakugo's recovery, Todoroki's battle, or the efforts of heroes providing support could be touched upon, reinforcing the theme that this victory, if it comes, belongs to everyone.

Chapter 402 promises high-stakes action, emotional gut-punches, and stunning artwork. It's a crucial step towards the climax, likely leaving readers breathless and speculating wildly about the final outcome and the ultimate cost of peace.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the studio change. MAPPA did an amazing job with season 1, but if they're overbooked, I'd rather a fresh team with passion take over than get a rushed production.

Totally agree! Quality over scheduling any day. Plus, didn't the original manga artist praise the new studio's test animations?

I just hope they keep the same voice actors! The voice acting in the first season was absolutely perfect.
