Yuji Itadori, an unnaturally fit high schooler, lives a mundane life until he encounters a cursed item – a rotting finger belonging to the legendary King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. To save his friends from Curses attracted by the finger, Yuji makes a rash decision and swallows it, becoming Sukuna's host. Despite being possessed, Yuji retains control over his body. He is sentenced to death by the Jujutsu world but receives a stay of execution from the powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo. Yuji enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High, an academy for Jujutsu Sorcerers, mentored by Gojo alongside classmates Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. He must find and consume all of Sukuna's fingers before his execution, all while battling increasingly dangerous Curses and rogue sorcerers.
