Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Menu

SYNOPSIS
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is split into two distinct parts. The first, 'Hidden Inventory/Premature Death', is a flashback arc exploring the high school days of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, their mission to protect the Star Plasma Vessel Riko Amanai, and the tragic events that led to Geto's descent into darkness. The second, larger part adapts the infamous 'Shibuya Incident' arc. On Halloween night, Geto (Kenjaku) and a league of powerful Cursed Spirits enact a large-scale plan to trap civilians and lure Gojo into Shibuya Station, aiming to seal him using the Prison Realm. This triggers an all-out war across Shibuya between Jujutsu Sorcerers and Curses, resulting in unprecedented chaos, numerous casualties, intense battles, and world-altering consequences.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the studio change. MAPPA did an amazing job with season 1, but if they're overbooked, I'd rather a fresh team with passion take over than get a rushed production.

Totally agree! Quality over scheduling any day. Plus, didn't the original manga artist praise the new studio's test animations?
I just hope they keep the same voice actors! The voice acting in the first season was absolutely perfect.
